New Zealand's Cho wins Women's Stroke Play Championship

Fifteen year old New Zealand rising star Cecilia Cho overcame a host of challengers to win the Srixon Australian Women’s Stroke Play Championship by one stroke at Cottesloe Golf Club in Perth on Saturday.

Jager wins Srixon Australian Men's Stroke Play Championship

Western Australia's Matt Jager fired a final round 2-under par 70 at Lake Karrinyup Country Club to complete a five stroke victory at the Srixon Australian Men's Stroke Play Championship.
 
Set up by his outstanding opening round 7-under par 65, the current New Zealand Amateur champion followed up with consistent rounds of 70, 71 and 70 to seal the title at 12-under par.

Sublime Tseng seals victory at Handa Australian Open

World Number 6 Yani Tseng fired a blistering final round 7-under par 66 to win the 2010 Handa Women’s Australian Open at Commonwealth Golf Club by three strokes.

The 21 year old from Taiwan, who had lurked among the leaders all week, birdied five of her final nine holes to hold off the challenge from defending champion Laura Davies.

Headland's David Rattray and Brisbane's Jessica Park have taken out their respective Champion of Champions event held at the Brisbane Golf Club. David Rattray shot consistent rounds of 73, 72 (145) to finish three shots in front of Redland Bay member Ray Harris who was placed near the top at the halfway mark with a first round 73 (+1) in the wet and humid conditions.
